Law Enforcement Requests

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how Arsll ("we", "us", "our") handles requests for user information from law enforcement authorities, courts, government agencies, and other authorised bodies. Arsll is a UK-based online matchmaking platform and is committed to complying with applicable UK law while respecting the privacy rights of its users.

1. Purpose

Arsll cooperates with lawful requests from law enforcement authorities where we are legally required or permitted to do so. At the same time, we are committed to protecting user privacy and handling personal data in accordance with applicable UK law, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

2. Requests for User Information

Arsll may disclose user information where it is legally required or permitted to do so under applicable law. This may include, for example, where Arsll receives a valid court order, warrant, subpoena, or other legally valid request. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

3. Valid Legal Process

Arsll reviews each request to ensure that it is issued by an appropriate authority and contains sufficient legal basis and information to identify the requested data. We may decline or seek clarification in respect of requests that are overly broad, unclear, or that lack the necessary legal basis under applicable law.

4. Emergency Requests

Arsll may respond to emergency requests where there is a genuine risk of serious harm, death, or other urgent circumstances, in accordance with applicable law. In such cases, we may disclose limited information where we are permitted to do so and where the circumstances reasonably justify an urgent response.

5. User Notification

Arsll may notify the affected user when legally permitted to do so. However, we may withhold notification where it is prohibited by law, where a court or other authority has ordered non-disclosure, or where notification could interfere with an investigation. This policy does not guarantee that users will always be notified.

6. Data Preservation

Arsll may preserve relevant information where it receives a valid preservation request or where it is required to do so by law. Preservation does not constitute disclosure; preserved information is only disclosed where a valid legal basis for disclosure exists.

7. Information We May Hold

Depending on how a user uses the service, Arsll may hold information such as:

  • Account and profile information provided by the user.
  • Communications or platform activity generated through use of the service.
  • Payment-related information processed through our payment provider.
  • Technical and security-related information, where applicable.

The specific information available will depend on the user's use of the platform and the data collected at the relevant time.

8. Requests From Authorities Outside the UK

Requests from law enforcement or government authorities outside the United Kingdom may be handled in accordance with applicable UK law and any relevant international legal procedures. Arsll does not commit to disclosing information in response to requests that do not comply with applicable UK law.

9. Contact for Law Enforcement

Law enforcement authorities may contact Arsll regarding lawful requests for user information using the following dedicated email address:

arsll.co.uk@arsll.co.uk

Requests should include the issuing authority, the legal basis for the request, and sufficient information to identify the requested data. General user support enquiries should be directed to our contact page rather than this address.

10. Privacy and Security

Arsll takes reasonable measures to protect user information and only discloses information in accordance with applicable law and its privacy obligations. This policy does not override our Privacy Policy or any legal obligations we may have under UK data protection law.
